Resumo

In this research, the chosen research paths zoned the teacher training and were carried out at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal. The subjects of the study were students of the Basic Bachelor's Degree of the IPB and students of the Masters in Teaching (1st Cycle of Basic Education (CEB) and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd CEB and 1st Cycle and Pre-School Education (CEE)), through a case study, as the main qualitative research instrument. Through this proposal it was possible to raise categories regarding methodologies, teaching strategies, didactics among other areas of knowledge in the training of teachers in the Basic Education course, directing to the contexts that surround the study of the Sciences of Nature. Accompaniments of learning situations were carried out in the academic context between the teacher - student relationship, with the objective of carefully analyzing possible points of congruence or divergence in this academic context. Thus, this research seeks to understand and describe the system of teacher training in the IPB, in addition to pointing out methodologies present in the teaching of Natural Sciences in the training of graduates and masters in the School of Education (ESE) in the areas of Natural Sciences.
